DESCRIPTION OF INVESTMENTS

Investment period
The investment period will begin on the Initial Issuance Date and will end on the date that occurs earlier between (i) two years counted from the Initial Issuance Date, and (ii) the date on which the amount of the Invested Capital, together with the amounts in the Reserve for Committed Investments and the amounts that must be invested by the Trust pursuant to a binding obligation, exceed 85% (eighty-five percent) of the Maximum Investable Amount.

Investment objective
The objective is to invest in activities related to the planning, design, construction, development, operation and maintenance of electrical energy projects. The investments made by the Trust will be made, directly or indirectly, in capital (primarily) and/or debt of Promoted Companies.

    • On February 26, 2024, an investment was made consisting of the acquisition of a portfolio of assets made up of 12 combined cycle electricity generation plants and 1 wind energy generation plant, through a purchase and sale contract. . of shares with respect to the shares issued by the companies that own said power plants, which were owned by the Iberdrola México group. The generation plants are the previously mentioned and the following:

Outstanding events

September 11, 2024 FIEMEX - Mexico Energy Investment Trust, which is the vehicle through which FIECK made the investment consisting of the acquisition of a portfolio of 13 electric power plants, carried out a bond offering in dollars in international markets for a total amount of US$1,490 million dollars, maturing in 2041 and a coupon rate of 7.25%. The use of the resources obtained from the issuance of said bonds will be to pay a portion of the financing that was obtained at the time to carry out the aforementioned acquisition, as well as transaction expenses and corporate uses.

REMARKS

As of July 07, 2024, it was announced the update of the registration in the National Securities Registry regarding the issuance of development trust stock certificates Series A-3, with ticker code “FIECK 24D". As provided in the trust agreement, the issuance certificate and the prospectus, only holders of series A-2 certificates had the right to subscribe and pay 1 (one) series a-3 certificate for each 1 (one) series certificate A-2 of which they were holders on the date of registration, at a rate of one to one.
