DESCRIPTION

Shared production contract CNH-M2-SANTUARIO-EL GOLPE/2017 for hydrocarbon production in onshore zones, covering an area of 153.19 km2 in the oil province of “Southeast Basins” for the production of oil and gas.

On December 19th, 2014, Pemex and Petrofac requested the Ministry of Energy the migration of the Assignments referred as A-0396-Santuary and A-0121-Campo El Golpe, through the procedure established in the Hydrocarbon Law in order to execute a new agreement under the Shared Production Mechanism.

On December 15th, 2017, the National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH) authorized the execution of the Contract for Hydrocarbon Extraction under the Shared Production Mechanism, corresponding to the migration assignments referred as A-0396-Santuario and A-0121-Campo El Golpe.

REMARKS

The estimated investment amount refers to approved investments, which are those that operators estimate they will carry out in the various plans, as applicable (exploration, evaluation, and/or development).

This contract will include exclusively hydrocarbon extraction activities.

The State is a partner of the contractor. The contributions to the State are:
1. Royalties.
2. 65% of the monthly operating profit.
3. The Contractual Fee for the exploration phase.

There are two possible extensions in the contract term, subject to the regular commercial production of the area. The first extension of 5 years and a second extension for an additional 5 years.
