DESCRIPTION

Concession to construct, operate, exploit, conserve and maintain the 39.71 km long west Acapulco bypass, with 4 lanes, in the State of Guerrero. This bypass is included in the National Infrastructure Fund (FONADIN) concession.

Section included in the second addendum (24/08/2012) of the FONADIN concession title.

PROJECT’S SUSTAINABILITY SUMMARY

The purpose of the project is the construction, operation, maintenance, conservation and exploitation of the Libramiento Poniente Acapulco to reduce connection times with Coyuca de Benítez, increase road infrastructure, promote employment and attract tourist and commercial investment in the region of La Costa Grande, in the state of Guerrero. It uses energy efficiency technology for the operation of tunnels and proposes institutional training on environmental protection.
