DESCRIPTION

The project consists of the construction of a 184 km railway line for passenger transport, with the following characteristics:

It will pass through the municipalities of: El Marqués (station), Querétaro, Santiago de Querétaro, Apaseo el Grande, Celaya (station), Villagrán, Salamanca, Irapuato (station).
Single or double track, non-electrified.
Design speed: 160 - 200 km/h.
Track type: embankment and viaduct.
The locations of the stops and stations will be determined through a demand study.
