The Project consists of the design, construction, exploitation, operation, conservation and maintenance of the Macrolibrary in the South of Colima, with a type A4 section, a crown width of 22.0 m, 4 circulation lanes (2 in each direction) of 3.5 m each one, exterior shoulders of 3.0 m, interior shoulders of 1.0 m and an approximate length of 28.8 km.

The Project considers the intervention of two sections:

A. Section 1 (km 0+000 to km 22+800): New section with a crown width of 22.0 m and a type A4 section, which considers 4 traffic lanes (2 in each direction) of 3.5 m width each, exterior shoulders of 3.0 m, interior shoulders of 1.0 m, in a length of 22.8 km, including the construction of 6 crossings (lower/upper), 1 crossing over railway tracks, 2 toll plazas located at the ends of the Section with 4 lanes and booths, 4 bridges (3 on the trunk and 1 at the Jiquilpan junction), 1 initial uneven junction that will connect the vicinity of km 8+000, of the Free Federal Highway Colima – Tecomán Junction (MEX-110) and 1 junction in the Jiquilpan area that will connect the project with the current roads in the Altamira community.

B. Section 2 (22+800 to km 28+800): Extension of the existing highway that begins at the town of Buenavista and ends at the intersection of the Federal Toll Highway Guadalajara – Colima (MEX-054D) and the Free Federal Highway Cd. Guzmán - Colima (MEX-054), to take it from a type A2 section (one lane of traffic in each direction) to a type A4 section, in a length of 6.0 km, including the construction of 1 uneven junction, to connect the National Airport of Colima with the South Macrolibration, and 1 junction with the Guadalajara Colima highway.
