DESCRIPTION

The project consists of the modernization, operation, maintenance and conservation, under performance standards, 522.973 km, of the Southeast Package highways:

i) Las Choapas - Ocozocuautla (197.500 km)
ii) La Tinaja - Acayucan (188.000 km)
iii) Cárdenas - Agua Dulce (54.112 km)
iv) Acayucan - Cosoleacaque (40.00 km)
v) Champoton - Campeche (39.500 km)
vi) y Puente el Zacatal ( 3.861 km)

The PPP Contract is composed by two main sections:
- Initial Investment: With the aim of achieving high service levels in highways and to migrate to a preventive maintenance scheme based on the latter compliance of performance standards. It is estimated that initial investment concludes in 2 years.
- Operation and maintenance: It is estimated a term of 10 years for operation and maintenance including initial investment, under performance standards. The payment is subject to penalties if such standards were not achieved.

These highways are included in the National Infrastructure Fund (FONADIN) concession.

Project revenues
The concessionaire will pay a compensation to the developer regarding the maintenance, rehabilitation and operation of the highway sections. The payment source will be the toll fees charged by the concessionaire.
