DESCRIPTION

The project entails the construction of a highway with an A4 type section to accommodate four lanes: two 3.5 m lanes in each direction, 3.0 m outside shoulders, and 0.5 m inside shoulders, separated by a 1.0 m central barrier. This construction spans from kilometer 11+500 to kilometer 20+000, encompassing 8.5 km along the trunk axis. Additionally, the area of influence includes 0.5 km for the Real del Monte junction and 0.4 km for the Huasca junction, totaling 9.4 km. The project also includes the construction of 2 overpasses named Real del Monte and Huasca, 6 viaducts, 3 tunnels, 3 vehicular underpasses, 1 vehicular overpass, 2 emergency braking ramps, and intelligent transportation systems.

The project seeks to strengthen connectivity through the modernization of the National Primary Road Network. It is intended to resolve a point of conflict formed in one of the most sinuous areas of the route and complement the already modernized sections between Pachuca and Real del Monte and between the Entronque Huasca and Cerro Colorado, in addition to offering a saving in transportation costs and a reduction of the accident rate, mainly generated by overshoot maneuvers.
