DESCRIPTION

ORIGINAL CONCESSION (10/06/1993). Build, operate, exploit, conserve and maintain the Veracruz-Cardel toll highway section of the Poza Rica-Veracruz highway, between the 212+500 km and the 241+000 km, as well as the Cardel northwest bypass, from the 212+500 km (Poza Rica-Veracruz) to the 11+500 km (Tamarindo-Cardel), including "La Antigua" bridge located at the 222+400 km of same highway. The term of the concession is 15 years.
FIRST MODIFICATION (16/11/1994). It is established that the works of the concession, when the term is over, are given to the Nation and the concession is updated according to the Federal Law of Roads and Bridges.
SECOND MODIFICATION (05/20/1996). Veracruz northwest bypass is included, located between San Julian at 233+100 km (Poza Rica-Veracruz) and Cordoba-Veracruz highway at the 9+600 km (Paso del Toro-San Julián), including Tamaca junction section from the 24+400 km (Paso del Toro-San Julian) to Tamsa’s access, in the 93+900 km (Tamarindo-Veracruz). The concession term was extended to 30 years starting on the original concession date.
THIRD MODIFICATION (08/10/2000). Extension to 4 traffic lanes of the Tamarindo-Cardel subsection from the 0+000 km to the 11+500 km and of the sections of highway 140: Tamaca-Via Ferrea from 91+400 km to 96+600 km and ii) Rinconada-Tamarindo from 46+700 km to the 53+800 km (Tamarindo). Adequacy with crossing at the Tamaca junction at 24+400 km.
FOURTH MODIFICATION (12/20/2002). Extension to 4 traffic lanes of the Tamarindo-Cardel section, from the 4+000 km to the 10+734 km, as well as the sections of the 140 federal highway from 49+000 km (Rinconada) to 53+000 km (Tamarindo); build the Tamarindo junction at the 53+000 km of the 140 federal highway; extension to 4 traffic lanes the Chichicaxtle bypass from the 0+000 km to the 4+000 km and a return located in 4+000 km of the Tamarindo-Cardel section. The concessionaire has the obligation to extend to 4 traffic lanes from 92+000 km of the Xalapa-Veracruz highway with the construction of a roundabout.
FIFTH MODIFICATION (29/11/2004). Includes the construction of 4 lanes of the Chichicaxtle bypass from 103+700 km to 105+865 km.
SIXTH MODIFICATION (9/28/2007). It is specified that the construction of the Veracruz-Cardel section starts at 211+600 km.
SEVENTH MODIFICATION (8/12/2017). Additional investments in modernization and conservation.
