Construction and eventual operation and maintenance of the gas pipeline to reinforce the current natural gas transportation infrastructure in the region of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, sustaining the reserved capacity of 430 MMPCD of the Liquefaction Plant; in conditions to be agreed.

The gas pipeline should consider preparing the conditions for the interconnection of industrial parks in the future, with a capacity of 50 - 70 MMPCD. A minimum transport capacity of 500 MMPCD is estimated.

The states that will benefit from its construction are Veracruz and Oaxaca.

The project consists of the development of a natural gas transportation system by pipeline departing from the town of Chinameca (Veracruz) and connecting the port of Salina Cruz (Oaxaca), in order to provide the transportation of natural gas on this route and increase the availability of this fuel in the region of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec.
