Mexico has an investment grade rating assigned by the leading credit rating agencies, and is considered as one of the most reliable countries both, in Latin America, as well as among the emerging economies.
Despite the different external shocks that generate uncertainty among investors, the behavior of the main macroeconomic indicators based on a flexible exchange rate, cautious fiscal and monetary policies, a well-capitalized financial system, moderate debt, as well as an adequate international reserves position, had allowed the country to maintain an investment grade rating, through out the main rating agencies:
