Foreign Direct Investment Reaches a New Historic High

At the end of 2024, Mexico recorded a new historic high in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), totaling $36.872 billion, the highest figure ever recorded for the period.

  • 2.3% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
  • The United States remains the top investment partner, accounting for 45% of total flows.
  • Japan and Germany rank second and third, respectively.
