Investment of Over 11 Billion MXN in the Expansion of the Villahermosa-Chetumal Highway

  • SICT has commenced construction on the Macuspana-Escárcega section, generating 33,591 jobs.
  • In the first phase, 130 km will be expanded to four lanes, while the second phase will focus on the maintenance of 170 km.

The Macuspana-Escárcega section is the first project among the priority corridors to be developed during this administration, making today a symbolic milestone for the SICT team and road workers.
