National Highway Infrastructure Program Reaches a Total Investment of 173 Billion MXN
Funds will be allocated for the construction, modernization, expansion, and completion of more than 4,000 km.
The program includes continuity projects covering 126 km with an investment of 4.597 billion MXN; priority corridors spanning nearly 3,000 km with an investment of 118.47 billion MXN, which includes the highway program in Oaxaca as part of the Lázaro Cárdenas Plan, with an investment of 5.986 billion MXN for 904 km.
In terms of mixed investment, the government plans to develop five highway projects under the “construction, maintenance, and operation model, where the government holds the majority stake,” with an investment of 30.665 billion MXN and approximately 300 km in length.
