The Official Gazette of the Federation has published the Agreement announcing the certification marks “HECHO EN MÉXICO” and “MADE IN MEXICO”, along with their usage regulations.

On January 13, the Plan México was presented as a federal strategy to achieve equitable and sustainable economic development for shared prosperity. One of its priority actions is the relaunch of the “HECHO EN MÉXICO” brand.

The certification mark “HECHO EN MÉXICO” aims to highlight products in national markets and strengthen their position both domestically and internationally.

The Agreement establishes the certification marks and their usage regulations, designates the competent administrative unit within the Ministry of Economy, and defines its responsibilities in this matter.
