Description:
The project contemplates a railway infrastructure consisting of a 57.8 km electrified double railroad track, on elevated viaduct, with origin at the Observatorio Terminal in the west of Mexico City, and destination at the Zinacantepec Terminal in the Toluca Valley, with five intermediate stations, workshop and depots in Zinacantepec, as well as railway equipment including 30 five-car trains, with capacity for 750 passengers, maximum speed of 160 km/h and average speed of 90 km/h and a travel time of 39 minutes.
